Highbeams Jeep TJ

Jim started out with a basic 2004 Jeep Wrangler SE

He first started out with ideas of a mildly lifted 4x4 made for expedition wheeling.
But that went out the window real quick. His first attack was a simple build.
A 2 inch lift,31 inch DC FCIIs a Warn winch mounted
on the front bumber. He had Rocketman Fab build the bumper
as well as a real nice low profile winch guard/light mount.
Going out and grabbing a few different softtops for open top running,
he decided to upgrade the stock D35 rear axle to
stronger D44 with a Detriot auto locker.
Currie rocker protection and various under the rig skid plates
2 pair of DC Daylighters and he was set.

He then was looking for a skid plate for the rear diff
when he found a company named Nth Degree
Nth offered some really innovative engineering so he
opted to try out their rear upgraded suspension,
this made him first have to get a set of 3 inch
Springs for the front. He then cut off the shock mounts,
jettisoned the rear upper control arms and set to
add the Stinger/slider system with shock relocators
springs straighteners and all the bells and whistles that
go with the system. He also added a belly up skidplate
and SYE kit at this time with a 1 inch body lift.
Now on 33 inch MT Baja Claws he spent the next year
banging the Jeep around all the local parts and
dreaming of the Nth Gyro Joint Front end.
Front locker and a 2 low kit rounded it out

His next push was to upgrade the rear springs to LJ heavy duty springs,
add OME nitro chargers and finally add the Nth Front end suspension.
He upgraded to a Orfab rollcage, and added a mountaineer rack over the rear bed.
Changing out his old rear tire carrier for a Garvin Unit,
he added room for 2 Jerry cans
At the moment he is installing a onboard air system and swears
to his wife he is finished with the build. But all it takes is
to see his eyes light up when he looks at the Atlas 4 speed
Transfer case to know that resolve is soon to be broken.
As Larry can tell you he just bought new Piaa lights this week
