a tree strap, a short strap around 8 feet long to use so a cable does not harm a tree

Fire Extinguisher
Make sure the rig has attachment points front and rear
Check the parking break to make sure it works
First aid kit
and a battery that is tied down
A blanket and gallon of water for everyone in the vehicle
now that list is simple, and easily brought up to speed
and as you go along you will want to expand

a extra set of U Joints
A set of auto mechanics tools
A ground cloth for laying on
2 qts of oil, pint of break fluid, a gallon of water for the vehicle
plus any other fluid the vehicle needs
A onboard air system, compressor or tank
Fuses
A set of zip lock bags for holding parts easily lost
and hand cleaner and cloths
the list can go on, way on, but this list is a nice one to have
